Luis A. Torres is the Regional Head of the Americas for the Portfolio Management & Distribution (PMD) unit of HSBC’s Global Trade & Receivables Finance (GTRF) business. In his role, Luis leads a team responsible for the day to day management HSBC’s Global Trade and Receivables Finance Portfolio which includes Investor Relationship Management, Capital Management and Transactional Distribution execution.

Luis brings to HSBC 27+ years of trade finance experience with Global banks having held leadership positions across the trade product spectrum in Sales, Product, Structuring and Syndications/Distribution.  Prior to his current position, Luis managed the Portfolio Management and Distribution capabilities for Trade and Supply Chain Finance at both Citibank and Bank of America.  Luis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bernard M. Baruch College in NY.
